My oldest started college at UCF in Orlando, Florida and we’re from Myrtle Beach, SC. It’s too long a commute for weekend visits but it was a full scholarship and they have a great engineering program. But he’s HOME for Thanksgiving!! It’s the first time we’ve seen him since late August. Having the family together reminds me of what matters and what doesn’t. AND, I can open the door of his room and see him playing World of Warcraft anytime I want. Whoo hoo!!

Hubby got a job in his field. Right now it’s almost, but not quite full time (32 hours per week), but now that he’s got a job, other employers are calling him. Nobody wants you until somebody else has you, I guess. But he loves his work and our family is climbing up again instead of sliding down.

So this is a great Thanksgiving. I hope everyone else has lots to be thankful for this holiday too.
