Though the details aren’t fully up yet, we wanted to give everyone a heads-up that All About Romance is once again holding a benefit to aid in hurricane recovery.
The Katrina-devastated south barely makes blip on news radar anymore, but as anyone who lives there or who has visited the coast regions can tell you, the situation is still grim.
This year, AAR will be holding an auction to benefit Hands On New Orleans, which provides ongoing opportunities for volunteers to make a difference in the recovery of the Gulf Coast region. The auction will begin on October 15th, and will include items such as:
Signed out-of-print “boxed sets†by such authors as Marsha Canham, Linda Howard, and Anne Stuart
Signed arcs from Nora Roberts, Meg Cabot, Lisa Kleypas, Elizabeth Hoyt, Angela Knight, and Lisa Marie Rice
Manuscript critiques from editors (Berkley, Avon, Pocket, and Samhain) and authors (including Howard and Stuart)
Signed “boxed sets” or books from Lisa Kleypas, Angela Knight, Elizabeth Hoyt, Julia Quinn, Loretta Chase, Theresa Medeiros, Liz Carlyle, Rachel Gibson, Lisa Marie Rice, Jaid Black, and Mary Jo Putney.
