I've never had alternate endings in my head. I think this is because I think of how it'll end from the very beginning (and I write to that ending) OR I don't know how it'll end until I get to the end! LOL! OR hopefully this is rare and so far has been almost non-existent but scene or portion of the story that is extraneous to the plot or just plain TMI.
